In the human body, countless regulatory processes and bodily functions take place at any given time without us being aware of it. Biofeedback captures these processes and makes them accessible, for example through sounds. This enables the user to consciously influence otherwise unconscious bodily functions and control circuits. If you suffer from dizziness frequently, you should definitely consult a doctor. In order to make it easier to make a reliable diagnosis, you should answer the following questions in advance:
1.what kind of dizziness do you suffer from?
– Rotational vertigo (like on a carousel)
– swindling (like on a ship)
– Lift dizziness (as in an elevator)
– Uncertainty of gait (with a clear head)
– Dizzy spell
2. is it a short dizziness attack or permanent vertigo?

EQUIFit acts on the organ of equilibrium. If the inner ear is not working properly, central compensation takes place. The other senses and organs involved in balance work to improve the sense of balance. In order to adjust these other senses correctly and also, for example, to protect the eyes from optical compensation by training with the eyes closed. The proprioceptive system is trained.

In principle anyone can use the products. The sound is reproduced in headphones in a HRTF frequency. About five to seven percent of people in Germany cannot perceive it. However, the headphones check this the first time they are used.
The EQUIVert GmbH & Co. KG is the distribution company that sells the medical devices. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the manufacturer GED mbH. EQUIFit is a headset for the private user, with which one can train one’s sense of balance at home, especially to relieve the symptoms of dizziness. EQUIMedi is a headset that can be used, for example, by doctors to measure the balance of their patients. With the corresponding software EQUISoft they can then evaluate data, make a diagnosis and recommend a therapy.
Currently, payment can be made by direct debit or PayPal. When purchasing an EQUIMedi, purchase on account is also available.

GED mbH was certified by DEKRA according to EN ISO 13485:2016 in February 2017 as developer of medical measuring and diagnostic devices and for the development, production and distribution of electronic components and components for medical devices. Since October 2020 the EQUIVert products have also been officially approved by DEKRA as medical devices with CE marking in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC. In addition, GED mbH is certified by DEKRA for its quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015.
In addition to the statutory 14-day right of return, there is also a statutory warranty of six months.
The products have no side effects or health risks if you follow the safety and usage instructions (e.g. enough space during training). During the first training session a second person is recommended or something to hold on to for safety reasons.
